It is time again to start looking at the upcoming releases of the new year! I have to apologize because this post is very long, but there are a lot of fantastic reads coming out. Enjoy!
January 3rd-Cinder by Marissa Meyer-I am not a huge sci-fi fan but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited about Marissa Meyer's new cyborg Cinderella retelling. From what I read of the chapters that were posted on the publisher's site, have found I like her writing style, but I'm not so sure I like the robots. You can read the first 5 chapters here. This is a 2012 Debut.

January 24th-Everneath by Brodi Ashton-I have always been fascinated by the myth of Persephone, so I was excited to read Everneath when I heard of it! Everneath takes a modern day twist on the myth of Persephone. I am absolutely in love with the cover. This is a 2012 Debut.
February 2nd-Harbringer by Sara Wilson Etienne-I really am intrigued by this book, a boarding school where terrible and mysterious things are happening. I also love the cover, it is really interesting, and different from most covers I've seen. This is a 2012 Debut.

March 13th-Spellbound by Rachel Hawkins- I adore this series, it has so many fantastic characters, like Sophie and Archer. I am sad that this is the last book in the series, and that I will have to say goodbye to all of my favorite characters, and the wonderful world Rachel Hawkins has created.

April 24th-The Selection by Kiera Cass-This book has a great premise: girls in competition for the Prince's hand in marriage. It has been described as The Hunger Games meets The Bachelor, and I am totally lusting for this book! Also, it has a fantastic cover. This is a 2012 Debut.
April 24th-Masque of the Red Death by Bethany Griffin-I am a huge Edgar Allan Poe fan so I squealed when I heard of this modern day retelling. I am not exactly sure how you can turn a short story into a novel, but I curious to see how Bethany does, and if she can really bring in the feel of Edgar Allan Poe.

April 24th-The Temptation by Alisa Valdez-I am not typically a huge ghost story person, but this one sounds too good to pass by! I am totally in love with the idea of two lover's who are forbidden to be together because neither is allowed to belong to the other's world. I just hope that this isn't the run of the mill paranormal romance because I am so sick of those. This is a 2012 Debut.
May 8th-City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare-The Mortal Instruments series is one of my favorite series, and I cannot wait for the next installment! I am so excited for City of Lost Souls especially after that cliffhanger ending in the last book.
May 28th-Insurgent by Veronica Roth-I loved Divergent, it was the best book I read this year, and I absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next! It reminded me a lot of The Hunger Games, but by the end of it, I found I loves it even more than The Hunger Games! If you have not read Divergent yet, I highly recommend you do.

June 12th-Timepiece by Myra McEntire-Hourglass by Myra McEntire is one of my favorite debut reads of this year, the mythology was extremely well developed, and there were multiple sexy men, what is not to like in that equation? I cannot wait to see what happens next to my favorite characters!
August 28th-Enshadowed by Kelly Creagh-I absolutely love, love, love Nevermore by Kelly Creagh, and it is killing me to have wait so long to find out what happens next! I highly recommend Nevermore to all who have not read it yet, it is a fantastic read with just the right balance of smexiness, suspense and fantasy. Also I must admit that I am huge Edgar Allan Poe fan and his works play a big part in this book.

August 28th-The Blood Keeper by Tessa Gratton-I really enjoyed Gratton's debut, Blood Magic, and it's dark twisted magic, it was fascinating, and original read. I am excited to see where Gratton goes with The Blood Keeper, the companion novel to Blood Magic.
August-Fathomless by Jackson Pearce-I have to admit, I haven't read any of Jackson Pearce's books before, but I am really intrigued by a modern day retelling of The Little Mermaid. I am also excited because Jackson Pearce talked about staying closer to Hans Christian Anderson's original, darker, version of The Little Mermaid, which I am a fan of.
October-Hush, Hush book 4 (Untitled)-Although I wasn't that impressed with the latest book, I still excited to see what happens next. I would highly recommend Hush, Hush, the first book in the series, to all who have not read it yet, I can't think of many characters that could compete with Patch's sexiness.

November 1st-The Diviners by Libba Bray-One of my favorite series of all time is Libba Bray's Gemma Doyle Trilogy. While I am not a huge fan of the books she has written since then, but I am excited about this new historical fantasy series, The Diviners. It is set in the 1920s, which is a fascinating era, though I haven't read many books set in that era. I am really excited to see how this series turns out!
2012 (no specific date):
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer book 2 (Untitled)-I recently read The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer and was blown away by it! The ending totally caught me by surprise, which hasn't happened to me in a while. I am really excited to dive into the mysterious world of Mara Dyer once more.

Isla and Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins-I have really enjoyed Stephanie Perkins other books, Anna and the French Kiss, and Lola and the Boy Next Door so I cannot wait to dive into another great romance!
Beta by Rachel Cohn-Two girls stranded on an island, one a clone, the other human, and they both fall in love with the same boy. I am not sure if this is a comedy, an adventure, or a romance, but I am really intrigued by this original idea.
Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross-A Modern Day Fairy Tale retelling of Sleeping Beauty but when this beauty learns of her fate, she takes control of it. Go girl power!
Poison by Bridget Zinn-I couldn't find much information on this book, but it sounds like a really great fantasy, with a princess, an assassin, and a piglet. This is a 2012 Debut.
Impossibly Small by Looisa Schroeder-This peaked my interest as soon as I heard that it was a retelling of Rapunzel. I am sucker for Fairy Tale Retelling, and a Rapunzel is one of my favorite Fairy Tales.
